Rob has been in the financial services world since 2003.  He is the founder and President of Chester Financial Services, LLC. 

 

Rob graduated from Ashland University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He double majored in Finance; and Management. During his career, Rob has gained priceless knowledge by training and succeeding in several different financial channels.  He has worked for a broker on Wall Street, a mid-sized regional bank, a Top 50 Fortune 500 financial services firm, and in 2013 founded Chester Financial Services, LLC; a Registered Investment Advisor.  

 

Rob specializes in comprehensive financial planning and investment management.  He has captured, and still practices, the approach that each client is special, and deserves sound, independent, fiduciary advice.  Rob also holds his Life & Health and Property & Casualty Insurance Licenses in the state of Ohio.

Alright, I confess,  I'm not THAT interesting.  At 19, I was in my sophomore year of college doing what most college students do. (Eat. Sleep. Try to make it to class. Rinse. Repeat) I had made it through my freshman year and still had no clue about what I wanted to do with my life. I decided to take a class on the fundamentals of investing. That was the decision that changed my life.  There is a professor who gave me the knowledge, tools, and access to resources that set my passion into overdrive.  I'll never be able to thank him enough.  He knows who he is, again, Thank You! The rest, I suppose, is history in the making!

 

Beyond being an investment nerd, here are 10 Random Things About Me:

 

1. I'm about as competitive as it gets. Thanks mom! Do not play her in Dr. Mario or Tetris. You've been warned.

2. I really enjoy learning new things.  Yep. Trivia nerd. However, I'm no where near Ken Jennings level.

3. I played traveling baseball, was on the golf team in high school, kicked butt in rugby during college, and even competed in a professional foosball tournament.

4. I've stepped foot in 41 U.S states, and Canada.  I want more!

5. I love fantasy football.

6. I'm a former Director of The Fredericktown Tomato Show, my local community festival.

7. I enjoy grilling, cooking, smoking, braising, and baking.  Food is my friend.

8. I'm an avid sports fan.

9. I'm a gamer.  If you're not sure what this is......I like Nintendo.

10. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephews. Kids are the coolest people on earth.
